City of West Chicago

This month Local Music Night brings three talented musicians to Gallery 200/STUDIO, located at 203 Turner Court. The lineup on Friday, June 21, 2013 includes:

  • 7:00 p.m. Youngest Son

  • 7:30 p.m. Roger Kotecki

  • 8:00 p.m. Jeff Elbel

  • 8:30 p.m. Open Mic

Visual artist Tom Phelan will also be on hand to talk about his work, thanks to People Made Visible, a West Chicago arts not-for-profit, which arranged his appearance. To view additional visual art, Gallery 200, which is on the main floor of the building and accessed at 200 Main Street, will be open until 8:00 p.m. during Local Music Night.

As usual, admission to Local Music Night is free, and organizers will have coffee, tea and other refreshments. Donations are appreciated and are used to support future events.

Organizers are also pleased to offer a special Local Music Morning event for children on Saturday, June 22, 2013 on the lawn of St. Michael's United Church of Christ, located at 400 W. Washington Street. Kids of all ages and their families are invited to bring a picnic blanket and/or chair and listen to some great childrens' music from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., followed by a family "bring your own picnic"; beverages and desserts will be provided.
